MUSEUM POLICIES

The Museum attempts to preserve the ambience of Olof Gollcher’s private house, and visitors are therefore asked to observe the regulations necessary for protecting the works of art and their domestic setting. Touching of items on display is prohibited.

Smoking, vaping, eating and drinking is strictly forbidden on the Museum grounds.

Photography is allowed throughout the museum. Photography must be for personal, non-commercial use only. The use of flash, selfie sticks, tripods and camera supports are not permitted.

Due to the sensitivity of the setup of the house, children under the age of 6 are not permitted into the museum and those between the ages of six and twelve must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Pets are not allowed entry into the Museum.

Scooters, roller blades, skateboards or bicycles are not allowed anywhere inside the Museum.

Due to the nature of the museum, personal bags are not allowed inside. Lockers are available free of charge at Reception area. The bags should not exceed the size of 40 cm by 25 cm. Please note that there is no cloakroom facility available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate for large bags, suitcases or large items such as prams, pushchairs, bicycles, scooters, etc.

Please note that public racks for bicycles and scooters are stationed at Mdina Main Gate and the Ditch.

Museum policies apply to Gustav Café.
